IngweNet© NPC is a multi-faceted Non Profit Company that has operated in the field of People Empowerment and Sustainable Community Development since 1996, predominantly (but not exclusively) in the rural areas of Southern Africa.

IngweNet© NPC was formerly known as IngweNet© People Empowerment and Sustainable Community Development Trust which was founded in 1996 by Wayne “Ingwe” Lourens, who was the Founder and Executive Director of the Trust.

The Non Profit Company is registered in the category of Economic Community Development using its registration number (2021/639764/08) as the basis for its name, K2021639764 (SOUTH AFRICA) NPC, pending the name "IngweNet" being de-registered from an inactive third party who never used the name in any business entity.

We use the available official "trading as" facility in the interim, to have the corporate identity of "IngweNet© NPC".
